FREE Shipping & Returns

  • The Yellow Door provides free domestic shipping on all orders above Rs 1000 except for items under the furniture category. For orders less than Rs 1000, we levy a charge of Rs 99 for domestic shipping. For international shipping rate please send an email at customercare@theyellowdoorstore.com


  • At The Yellow door, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials and construction is our priority. Prior to shipment, we carefully inspect your order and ensure that it passes our quality check. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage. We will make arrangements for a prompt replacement. We do not accept returns on items damaged through normal wear and tear. There is no return available on all the products reflected under the Furniture category.
  • If you are not satisfied with your product you can e-mail us within 3 days of purchase. You can return merchandise through the courier (at your cost) and take a refund. However the courier cost will not be re-funded. There will no returns on Bulk items or on discounted items.

How long does it take to receive the refund?

We will process your refund within 7 business days of receiving the returned product in its original packaging. The refunds period includes time taken to complete the refunds process by theyellowdoorstore.com, but excludes any delays on part of banks/ card issuers, or shipment time in case of cheque refunds

How will I receive the refunds?

When you return an item, within the specified time period, refunds are issued to the payment method used at the time of purchase, except for Cash on Delivery.For orders placed using Cash on Delivery as the payment method, refunds can be processed to your bank account via National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT). You can update the details of the bank account where you wish to receive the refund in the Your Account section or from the Returns Support Centre when you are returning an item.

You will need to update the bank account number and IFSC code to enable us to process a refund to your account. Refunds cannot be processed to third-party accounts, i.e. the name on your theyellowdoorstore.com account should match with the name of the bank account holder.

NEFT refunds will typically be processed in one business day from our end and will be credited to your account in two business days.


For Furniture/Wallpapers - Cancellations are not permitted once the order is placed. In case of any exception, please speak to our customer care and they will assist you in the best possible way. No refund will be made in case of cancellations for Part Payment orders that contain products from Furniture/Lighting /Mattress categories; the advance amount will be forfeited as cancellation charges.

Cancellations on categories (other than furniture) are possible only until the pre-shipping stage; please contact our customer care team to assist you for the same.
